Keys & Principles Of Prayers

Prayers are so easy and thought to be so difficult.

i want to give testimony first of 2 powerful answers of 2 very simple short prayers, because i believe that testimonies are the best teacher and encouragements.

In Prison

I was arrested in Kenya in 2008 for an expired visa and sentenced in court in Kibera Nairobi and imprisoned into GK Prison Industrial area. I was there for 3 weeks as finally my fine was paid. But God used me in this dark pit and I had a harvest of about 500 souls many healings and justice for innocent people. I was transferred to a police station in Keleleshwa Nairobi where I also was for 3 weeks. Bad conditions but the chief i must say very concerned, helping, a nice man. After that transferred to the immigration detention in the Jomo Kenyatta Airport Nairobi for 5 weeks. A experience I do not wish for anyone.

In the Immigration detention I had a day I went low, very low and walked at 1 am into the bathroom standing in front of a mirror. looking at me saying: Lord this is not the way I am now; what I need is your word. (I meant a Bible) In the morning at 7 am, a short strong Indian man was arrested by the Immigration and came into the cell with his suitcases. after a short we started talking and all over sudden he said: may I ask you a question? I said yes. He asked, do you have a bible? I almost could not believe what he is asking I was amazed and answered him, no I do not have. He asked: can i give you mine? i said i would be very blessed. he opened his suitcase and gave me a brand new King James Version Bible, which was having a bath in a perfume which was leaking in the suitcase. after this and some few little words, the door opened and the immigration officer called this man and he was released. I never heard of him again. Now, every time I was getting low in the night or was meditating for an answer, the sweet smell of this bible came into my nose and as I opened it, I opened the right scripture for encouragement.
what would you say now about this?
God is awesome!

Testimony 2

After being deported back to Germany, I lived one month in the streets until I was able to get an apartment. for one and a half year I was jobless and there were times money was very little in my pockets. There was a week in 2009 I had nothing remaining in the kitchen, not even a crumb of bread or a cent in my pocket. I turned in the evening as I was very hungry to the window, looking in love up to heaven and saying: Father, I am hungry! I did not say anything else but went hungry to bed. In the morning by 09:30 am the bell was ringing. I picked the speaker and asked who is there. it was a brother from the church which I joined during this time in that town. I opened the door and I could not believe what I saw. Harald Steckel was standing in front of me with a huge carton box full of shopping. Bread, butter, milk, sausage, jam, chocolate and so on. He told me, he was shopping for his family in the supermarket as he heard a voice saying: do a shopping for Naz. He just did he said, no doubting.
This is our God, faithful and loving! Glory to Him.

Well, these actually were not really prayer but in my heart it was prayer. But the essence of every prayer that makes a difference is

key number one: FAITH,

and I had spoken this in faith
to the father in heaven!

If there is no faith, there will be no answer for our prayer. Faith like a child! a child does imagining what it plays and if a child is saying something connected to that thing they play, it believes it, it sees it, the emotions are in and the seriousness.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Matthew 17:19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.:

There are many more scriptures about faith, so reading bible is a good thing!
Faith I cannot learn: Faith is awoken by hearing the word of God!

Key number 2: having a very close relationship with God!

I need not a speech of a professor to pray, I need not to learn psalms to memorize or memorize prayers from other people I heard praying.
I need to be connected with the true source of prayer.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

1st Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

The true prayer comes from God  through his spirit to our spirit and is uttered by our mouth to the Spirit of spirits which is God!

Key number 3: Love and Key number 4: Forgiveness

1st John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

1st john 2:10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

1st John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

1st Corinthians 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matthew 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

There are many more verses concerning love and we see how serious God is taking love, because He loved us first and all his creation he created in love, and He showes his love toward us in that He had send his only begotten son John 3:16. He was slaughtered for our sins to be forgiven, He suffered pain and shame and hang with the curse on the tree and had finished it by his love. How much more do we ought to love one another?

Key number 5: Privacy

All matters in our life are between God and us. If you have a delicate matter with your wife or husband, you would not write in in a newspaper or on the info board. or?
Jesus says a very important word about it and it is nowhere else found in the Bible.

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Secrecy, privacy, not making a wonder of how I love God before the people out of our dead's.
Some people write in their profile, we prayed for you and your family, so if you are touched donate to our ministry! Or when we see some prayer people how they boost with their many words, it is exact as Jesus says it. They want to be seen big on how great they can pray. That does not mean their prayer would not be answered but, there is no heavenly reward in it because they seek the glory from man through their boosting.

Key number 6: Praise & Worship

I had some times, it was so heavy on me, that I found no words to pray and I went into worship, in secret in my room locked in. And with praising and worshipping the heaviness departed and my mouth was opened and hoy was found again and I saw God moving in the following days.

Look at Paul and Silas Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

If we read more we see what great thing it has done afterward. The whole household of the prison guard has been saved. If they were sitting down and crying only and how wounded they were and what kind of injustice had been done, this would not have happen and the house hold of the prison guard might have not been saved. we see in what way God answers prayers. I we praise God in all things, He will take charge of the matters Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Job 2:9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Key number 7: Fasting

Fasting is a very strong weapon, not everyone is able to do a real fasting. I was doing it once for 40 days and it was one of my biggest challenges in all my ministry. I do fast if it is really not avoidable and i do not fast on command of others. Fasting must come from the heart backed up by our spirit. Isaiah explains nicely about fasting.

Isaiah 58 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.

4 Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.

5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the Lord?

6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.

9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

There is nothing more to add on this, it says all about a Godly fasting and a Hypocrites fasting.

The day I was reading this, still young in ministry, I was actually fasting on that day. As I was reading it I was moved deep in my heart and said Lord, let me go out, What happen this day was a big testimony and it is a long story to tell but God moved really so powerful people got saved and healed.

Another powerful scripture of fasting and having a close relationship with God, we read in
Daniel 10.12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. I urge you to read the whole chapter.

We can fast in urgent matters and we see How God said in Isaiah 58 how He will be moved if we do it the right way and how he interacts and we also see that through fasting we cause the Kingdom of darkness in the second heaven to fight fiercely! That even the angel had to fight his way through for 21 days, needed even help from the archangel, and has to fight his way back. This is what fasting cause in the spiritual world if we have the right heart toward God and do the fasting which is God pleasing. Many people I know lock themselves in and fast and pray and fast and pray even without drinking, I mean this is hurting our health and God does not want us to hurt our bodies, this is even in my perspective religious.
Daniel said, he was not eating pleasant things, do we read this? He eat. Fasting is not always not eating anything, but fasting from certain lets say luxury we do to us daily for example meat, wine sweets, burger, pizza. and so on.

Lets fast the right way. Jesus is saying this about fasting
Matthew 6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. And again remember in Daniel when we read in chapter 10 he was on a river when he had the visitation of the angel, meaning he was outside.
And again Jesus tell us about privacy, secret, between us and him, not to make big announcements oh I will do fasting for 7 days and nobody should disturb me. Really I know many who appear fasting and its so funny to look at it always brings a smile into my face and they are so much bible readers, I ask how do they read?
So I say it plain, even though I have been called into the office of the apostle, but fasting, I do only if there is a real urgent matter and then it is really in my heart and I can do it. But to go in fasting with a group on command I cannot do and i say it, otherwise I would build up a façade and my fasting would not be accepted by the Lord, so why to fast then?  But if I need to fast, then I know if I do it the right way, my prayers will be heard the first day and God will fight my battle!

Key number 8: Authority

Authority is a very important point and we need authority in the spiritual world to be dominion over the evil. This authority is given by God unto us as children of God. Meaning not those who say they are Christians, but those Christians who do the will of the Lord meaning: being born again!

John 3 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

1st Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

There is a different if I pray to God for my needs my health or a provision, or for a friend; or I do spiritual warfare, meaning casting out demons, breaking curses, spells, jinxes', hexes, destroying witchcraft, all what involves fighting in the spirit.

If i am not born again and do not have authority and start fighting in the spirit, I will have a bad awakening. we have an written example for this in the bible. acts 19:13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

satan is fighting back even to those who have authority, he must but against the children with authority, he has a hard time, But those without authority in the spirit, will be badly wounded, loss, sickness, even death can occur, suffering, quarrel at work, in family, in marriage; losing the job or the marriage is broken. sickness even in the whole family and this suddenly and unexplained, one by one. Same if we pray such warfare without faith! Satan comes to steel, to destroy and to kill. If we Impersonate an police officer while we are not, we will be punished by law and imprisoned. and so it is in the kingdom of darkness, if we touch in there without the heavenly authority, the kingdom of darkness will punish us.
Let me tell you something, some people think and teach that baptism is just a formal thing, but it is not, it is for righteousness to be fulfilled for the remission of sins. and should be done instantly after a person converts. ; Matthew 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.,
As I picked up my ministry after baptism in the Holy Spirit, I struggled to be baptized in water as I had hard time to find a church that would baptize me and this went on for a year.
What has this with authority.
Well: As much as I was healing sick people in this time in the name of Jesus and casting out demons, I suffered attacks after every powerful session of healing or deliverance. I suffered tonsils in a bad way that I was on the bed but recovered quick.
This stopped after I was baptized!
The apostles baptized instantly, there is no scripture that talks about seminars and long teachings to deserve to be baptized, this is religious and wrong and not biblical. In some case the apostle commanded the house to be baptized. I do the same I baptize instantly after a person converted or latest the next day if water is far. After reforming the church in Mindanao Philippines, I found out that all the old people even youths were not baptized and this previous pastor was there for many years collecting money. The oldest was 89 and imagine she died just a half year later. That's a scandal in my eyes! I even baptized the family of the founder of this church, they were not baptized and some had even not heard the gospel or were not sure until this time.

Authority is a must for those who intercede for others, or pray for the nation, or a church. Everywhere satan has authority we need the higher authority to destroy his works. This is a principal, because when Adam and Eve lost the right to be in the garden as they eat the forbidden fruit and sinned, they handed their God given authority over to satan, that's why satan is ruling in this world.  If we are not baptized, not as a child or baby, but after we have confessed Christ and repented of our sins, by being immersed into water, our sins are washed away and with this grace, we have now now the right to be called children of God, because our sins are nailed on the Cross. But if we are not baptized, not born again, we are sinful people in the eyes of the Lord, and even God does not hear the prayer of the sinful.

With authority, we cast out demons, we heal, we break curses in the name of Jesus Christ and nothing will by any mean harm us. Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The authority to do spiritual warfare, comes with the Holy spirit and his gifts, being anointed by God for a certain office.

1st Corinthians 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
Please read the whole chapter.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

If you do not know your gift, or office, but you feel you have something, pray and wait patiently, do not rush do not guess or think, wait the answer and a sign from the Holy Spirit. Many think they are but are not, many are gifted and know not. This is a case of praying and fasting, because this is one of the very important prayer issue, where we need a 100% answer from the spirit, not from the flesh!

It was my plan to make this a short topic, but see what it has become.
